Meeting at Grand Hotel Birmingham

 

Transfer to Ynyshir Restaurant & Rooms, Machynlleth, Wales from Birmingham

 

Dinner at Ynyshir ⭐️⭐️(unconfirmed)

 

Travel to the far coast of Wales. Take your time. Arrive with your mind open, ready for an immersive culinary experience in Gareth and Amelia´s home. Expect a DJ curating the music, the theatre of the kitchen taking centre stage. Expect fire, intense world flavours and the best meat and fish from around the globe. Currently The National Restaurant Awards UK best restaurant.

Hotel: Ynyshir Rooms (unconfirmed)

The House

Parts of Ynyshir date back to the 1750’s, with later additions during the Georgian and Victorian periods. In the main house you will find 7 bedrooms as well as the restaurant, lounge, bar and kitchen. This is their home and they can’t wait to welcome you here.

In the Gardens

They have a few rooms out in the garden separate to the main house, sitting behind a beautiful old eucalyptus tree and a magnolia. There are 2 adjoining rooms with direct access to the gardens as well as a third room outside to the other side of the house, with large patio doors and a huge new bathroom. These rooms are modern but still have the feeling of being traditional, and are all very light with high ceilings and exposed beams.

Tour Fees

Per person, shared room: USD 3990

SINGLE OCCUPANCY SUPPLEMENT: USD 650

Price includes all food, beverages (not wine), taxes, service charges, domestic transportation, and 6 nights of accommodation.

Price does not include airfare to and from Istanbul, and any travel or medical insurance.

Extra nights: before or after the tour can be booked at the Four Seasons at the Bosphorus hotel in Istanbul at special rates.

A Note on Set Menus

The menus offered during the tour are selected by The Hungry Tourist with the help of our local partners. We believe they represent the best culinary fare these cities have to offer. Guests may order outside of these menus at their own expense.

Wine: Not offered in most restaurants and not included.

Payment

A non-refundable deposit of USD 1000 per person will be charged upon reservation.

The balance must be paid no later than 60 days prior to the first day of the tour.

Payments are preferred by bank transfer. Payments with Credit Cards will incur a 4% supplement.




Cancellation Policy and Penalties

If cancellation is received up to 30 days before the first day of the tour, the deposit will be forfeited.

If cancellation is received up to 10 days before the first day of the tour, a penalty fee of 50% of the remaining balance will be charged. If a cancellation notice is received within 10 days of the first day of the tour or the guest is a no-show, the entirety of the remaining balance will be charged.
