Dear Friends,
For the last three years, I have celebrated my birthday in Japan, so I thought I would mix it up a little, and this year the Hungry Tourist Birthday Blow-Out will be in Spain — the world’s other great center of culinary inspiration.
The tour will be seven days, split between my two favorite cities, Barcelona and San Sebastian. I am planning for 24 of us, friends and alumnae of our tours, members of the Hungry Tourist family, all of you who share my consuming passion for food!
With the help of my partners on the ground, Gabriella, Alki Alcaraz, and Marc Garcia, we have already booked the entire restaurat at Estimar, Etxebarri and Ibai just for us, and arranged amazing special menus at Alkimia‘s private section, Elkano, Casa Julian and Tickets.
We will stay at the best hotels in both cities – the brand new EDITION in Barcelona and Maria Cristina in San Sebastian.
So, come and join the party — enjoy great food and hang out with your friends.

Tour Fees
Per person, shared room: Euro 3750
Single occupancy supplement: Euro 1150
Price includes Breakfast and one main meal a day including wines and soft beverages, taxes, service charges, airfare between Barcelona and san Sebastian, and 7 nights of accommodation.
Price does not include airfare to Barcelona or from San Sebastian, and any travel or medical insurance.

A Note on Set Menus
The menus offered during the tour are selected by The Hungry Tourist with the help of our local partners. We believe they represent the best culinary fare our destinations have to offer. Guests may order outside of these menus at their own expense.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of US$1,000 per person will be charged upon reservation.
The balance will be charged to your credit card 60 days prior to the first day of the tour.
Cancellation Policy and Penalties
If cancellation is received up to 30 days before the first day of the tour, the deposit will be forfeited.
If cancellation is received up to 10 days before the first day of the tour, a penalty fee of 50% of the remaining balance will be charged. If cancellation notice is received within 10 days of the first day of the tour or the guest is a no-show, the entirety of the remaining balance will be charged.
